Adding a favicon icon to your website

A favicon is a small 16 pixel by 16 pixel picture that you may see beside some URLs in your browser’s address bar.  If you want to add one, if not only to stop the error log entries for not having one, then all you need to do is create your image in your favourite imaging application or you can use a free website to create one such as http://www.favicon.cc/

Once you've created your masterpiece, name the file favicon.ico and upload it to the public_html folder, then you're done!
